Documentation, published openly

Read the record.
Then decide.

A badge tells you a supplier wants your trust. A report tells you what was tested, when and how. Encore publishes the report, its scope and the checks still pending for every listing — so you can judge the material before you buy it.

Why this matters

A badge.
Or a record.

Most research sites show a seal and a percentage on the product image. Here is what that leaves out — and what Encore publishes instead.

What a badge does not tell you

  • Which sample was tested, and whether it matches the size you are buying.
  • When the test was run and by which laboratory.
  • What method was used and what it can and cannot measure.
  • Whether the report covers one format or all of them.
  • What has not been checked at all.

What Encore publishes

  • The report PDF itself, released for you to open or download.
  • The sample scope: which formats the report describes and which it does not.
  • Dates, issuing laboratory and listed methods, summarised beside each packet.
  • A written status for every listing, including "no report on file".
  • The checks still pending: laboratory authentication and inventory review.

Three statuses, stated plainly

Every listing
has a document status.

We would rather tell you a report is missing than imply one exists. Each product page uses exactly one of these three labels.

8 listings

Supplier report packet released

A privacy-redacted, supplier-provided PDF packet you can open or download, with its sample scope, dates and methods summarised.

8 listings

Related reports awaiting review

Related reports were located but have not been released. Their status stays visible on the product page until review is complete.

8 listings

No report on file

No related report was located in the reviewed set. This does not establish that no document exists elsewhere — and we say so.

Laboratory authentication pending · Independent inventory review pending. Selected reports are third-party-commissioned copies, not laboratory reissues or Encore-commissioned tests. Results apply to the tested samples, not automatically to current inventory.

How to read a packet

Five things to check
in every report.

A report is only as useful as your reading of it. Each Encore packet comes with a summary that answers these five questions for you, and says plainly where the answer is still pending.

  • Sample and format. Which sample does the report describe, and does it match the format you are considering?
  • Date. When was the test run? Older reports describe older samples.
  • Issuer. Which laboratory produced it, and is that written on the report?
  • Method. What was measured, and what does that method leave out?
  • Limitations. Read the Encore summary's outstanding checks before relying on the result.

Documentation questions

What researchers
ask us first.

Short answers about this catalog. Full policies are linked in the footer.

All customer questions
01Is a supplier report the same as a certificate from Encore?

No. Released packets are privacy-redacted, third-party-commissioned copies supplied to Encore. The Encore summary beside each one identifies the source, the samples described and the checks still outstanding. It is not a COA issued by Encore, and laboratory authentication remains pending.

02Do report results apply to the vial I receive?

Results apply to the tested samples described in the report. Independent report-to-inventory review is pending, so a report should be read as evidence about those samples, not as an automatic statement about current stock.

03How many listings have a released report packet?

8 of 24 listings have a released supplier report packet you can open or download. 8 have related reports awaiting review and 8 have no report on file in the reviewed set. Each product page states which applies.
